Tea Party Tuesday, on Wednesday . . . etc etc

I won't bore you again with the fact that the painters are STILL here - in fairness, they are doing great work but why, oh why does it have to take sooo long?
So instead today I thought I'd share a mish-mash of some happy things . . .

a surprise beautiful bouquet from a most precious BFF

a gorgeous little gift in the mail from a new bloggy friend who had a giveaway
(have you met Robin yet? Do pop over & say hello. . .)

homemade waffles with bacon & maple syrup for breakfast,

and delicious chocolate cake for tea

a wee bit of sewing

and tea with friends at the new little shoppe in our village

Linking up with the lovely Chantille Fleur for Tea Party Tuesday . . .
better late than never ;-)

'til next time,
xoxo

  3. Beautiful flowers, lovely tea towel gift, tasty breakfast and gorgeous chocolate cake - then you had sewing time AND tea with friends at the most delightful little shop - could you cram anything else into one day Gilly? Oh and I just love that little verse! Keep on with happy times m'dear and don't pay any attention to those guys with the cans of paint and paintbrushes - they'll soon be gone!
    Hugs for you, Joy xo

    1. Ooh, I know... if only those walls could talk...especially with all the goings on in our village! That's the beginnings of the Juliet dress (50's vintage style), also designed by Jules. It's my 3rd one of those too! Promise to show it when it's finished :-)

    1. Hi Sarah, yes we have a waffle maker and a very easy recipe that I can let you have if you'd like? They are just delicious...especially smothered in maple syrup & topped with ice-cream. Hmmm... wonder if I'd get away with serving ice cream with breakfast? ;-)
