Well at the end of my last post, I promised I'd be back with a WIP update and - albeit almost a week later - here I am again, with the news that my Scrappy Trip quilt {that I started here } is coming along nicely, and the top is almost / very nearly / within-hours-of-being . . . f.i.n.i.s.h.e.d : - )
I added a strip inner border and then a row of charm pack squares so now there's just a plain strip border to go all the way around. I think it needs that to finish it off nicely, but I haven't quite decided which fabric to use for that yet.
So I'm just going to lay it out and gaze at it for a wee while until I decide.
I'm going to have to piece the back due to the size, and then will do a scrappy binding so all the leftovers will get used up too.
This has been such a fun project and I definitely want to make another Scrappy Trip quilt again SOON.
But for now - I really, really should get another WIP or two completed first . . .

A great BIG welcome to my new followers - thanks so much for popping in and saying hello
: - )
Wishing you a happy week ahead,
xoxo
