Mondays always seem to come around again so quickly, don't you think ?
We had a lovely weekend with friends visiting from the Netherlands, but now they've gone home & the Hubby's gone back to work - and it's just me & the pups . . . and loads of laundry and the rest of the Monday chores to be done.
So I thought I'd just take a wee break, have a cuppa and catch up . . .
Last week, I popped up the road to see lovely Sarah at The Faerie Factory to collect the sweetest little pink faerie from her.
But before the little faerie flies off to surprise a very special
little girl for her birthday later this week, she had a little flutter
around here . . .
. . . having a wee chat to the flowers and sprinkling some faerie magic in the garden . . .
. . . and making friends with the hounds.
The Jerry-dog wanted to chew her wings, but the Ben-dog was happy to pose for a pic. { Although Ben does look a bit grumpy, don't you think ? }
It's essential that the little faerie gets used to having a chocolate furry four-legged friend around because she will be sharing her new home with Ben & Jerry's baby-sister-from-another-litter, Coco.
Isn't she just the sweetest faerie you ever did see ?
{Thanks Sarah - she's adorable and I just know her new little Miss will love her too. And thanks for the yummy rhubarb tart too : - ) }
Ooh, and the good news ?
To celebrate her blogiversary this week, Sarah is giving away a gorgeous faerie - so do hop over to The Faerie Factory and say hello. Good luck . . .
I'll be back soon with a WIP update,
'til then
xoxo
Sarah is so talented, good for you getting one of her darling faeries for a little one. Ben looks pretty peeved about the photo shoot.

I had to laugh at the photo of Ben and the fairy. She looks like she's ready to pounce as soon as you turn your head - Ben, not the fairy! :oD
ReplyDeleteOh Sarah brings forth beautiful faeries, doesn't she Gilly, and it's so good that you are getting her acquainted with the furry friends in preparation for her new home!
ReplyDeleteBen-dog has the strangest look on his face, like "get this thing out of here!" Ah well, a wee bit of competition doesn't do any harm - I hope!!!
And so you had one of Sarah's rhubarb tarts! How spoiled are you!
Enjoy your week Gilly!
