It's a very rainy day outside so what better way to spend it than being creative and having tea (and yummy homemade scones with strawberry jam & clotted cream) with friends.
Liz Monk is a very talented and lovely local potter (and accomplished baker too, judging by the delicious above-mentioned scones) who runs workshops and classes from her family farm. She is endlessly patient too and we had great fun nattering, eating, moulding, throwing and painting our way through the morning.
Liz will glaze and fire our creations in the kiln so we can't wait to see how they all turn out.
Just a really fun time... oh and did I mention how yummy those scones were ?
Looks fun, and what a perfect day to create inside!! xo Heather
