I love roses.
They are just so pretty, and I love pretty things . . . We didn't plant these ones, they were already well established when we moved in, and each year they blossom beautifully and add their lovely colours to our front garden.
These pretty purple and white flowers (I confess to being completely hopeless when it comes to remembering names of plants, so do forgive me - and feel free to enlighten me) my friend, Kate who is a very creative Garden Designer, planted for us. And despite being trampled by the two-most-adorable-pups-in-the-world and nipped at by Jack Frost in the winter, they are growing and blooming beautifully.
Ain't it sweet? I just could not resist this gorgeous 1950s-style dress - perfect for summer . . when it eventually arrives!
And last but not least, the Cabbages & Roses jellyroll and some Tanya Whelan charm packs that I bought yesterday, just waiting to blossom (with a wee bit of piecing and quilting, of course) into 2 new projects.

Ooh, I love roses, too! I just bought some mini roses for the inside of my house, since I don't have a garden. I just love the way they look, and smell! Yours are gorgeous! Looks like you have some pretty fabric to play with! Happy sewing! xo Heather
