It's a dog's life . . .

 So far this week, it's been sunshine and showers.  

Mostly showers actually.  

So, in between the usual daily activities, 

I've been:

adding a border to the ripple blankie {with the Ben-dog keeping a close eye on the progress}

waiting patiently for the rain to slow so we could go out for a walk in the woods

 {and taking a wee dog-nap in the meantime}

. . . and tidying up the pups toys into this sweet new bag from the oh-so-lovely Tartan Bee.

And whilst we're on the topic of lovely buys from sweet Etsy shops belonging to friendly bloggy peeps,

here's what I got from the Vanilla Squirrel recently too:

Mr Badger - whom I just couldn't resist because our neighbours have a badgers sett on their property, for which our street is named.
That, and he's just the sweetest badger you ever did see.

AND just because I love elephants,
this little pink, lavender-scented Miss Ellie had to go in the basket too.

Doesn't she look so perfectly happy just perched on top of my recently-Annie-Sloan-ed-in-pink-Antoinette cake stand, which is now functioning as a hairdryer stand in a corner of my little dressing room ?
