Helloooo . . .
we're still running around all over the place, out & about and enjoying spending time with our visitors. They leave to go back to South Africa on Saturday :-( {v.e.r.y sad face} so as I'm sure to need much cheering up, I'll catch up with visiting all your lovely blogs next week. Thanks for all your sweet comments on my last post too.
But in the meantime, just a quick post with some pics of from our Easter celebrations. We had a lovely time with friends & family . . .
an Easter egg hunt in the snow ! |
yummy cupcakes . . . |
Malteser bunny chocolate ice-cream sundaes . . . |
. . . and four tired-out furry babes. |
Believe it or not, there's still lots of snow on the ground around here - it's just still too cold for it to thaw. Apparently this was the 2nd coldest March in the UK since records began, with an average temp of 2 degrees Celsius. Eeeek . . . really hoping it'll warm up soon but not sure if all the Spring bulbs in my cutting garden will survive.
somewhere under there, the daffies & tulips are lurking . . . |
Hope it's warmer where you are,
enjoy the rest of the week
xoxo
ps. and a very happy 12th birthday across the miles, today to my other gorgeous goddaughter

Hi Stephanie - thanks so much for popping by and saying hello, and for following too :-)
DeleteThis week so far has been a bit strange (and altogether too quiet!) but on the plus side, the pile of laundry is almost done!
Hopping over to visit your blog now too.. see you there,

Looks like there was lots of fun, and lovely cupcakes :D
ReplyDeleteThankfully the weather here has gotten milder, so hopefully that is the last of the snow for us until the end of the year :)

ReplyDeleteHow strange to be hunting Easter Eggs in the snow, don't remember that happening before!
ReplyDeleteHi Jay, thanks for popping in and saying hello ! It was indeed quite strange, and that was definitely a first for us too. It was quite fun though, and at least the eggs didn't melt ;-)
DeleteHave a good week,
xx
I thinki am in love with Jerry....a doggy crush no less?
ReplyDeletelovely pictures
Daisy x
Without being too biased, I have to admit that Jerry is easy to fall in love with. I think the fact that she seems to share a braincell with her sister (the Ben-dog)adds to her adorable-ness :-)
DeleteHave a great week,
xx
Such wonderful Easter memories for you Gilly.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're not too sad with your visitors departing.
Those photos of your garden covered in snow - it's amazing how flowers will pop up with their smiling faces very soon!
Take care
Shane ♥
Thanks Shane - it's supposed to rain here tonight and warm up at the weekend, so hopefully the flowers will indeed start smiling soon :-)
DeleteHappy Wednesday,
