Yarn Along Wednesday

It's Yarn Along Wednesday and I'm linking up with Small Things again this week. . .

I still haven't finished reading "Return to the Olive Farm" (by Carol Drinkwater), and our next book club meeting is tomorrow morning - eeeek -  but I have managed to finish crocheting the Christmas gifts for my fellow bookclubbers.
(HH - if you're reading this, look away now and close your pea-pod immediately )

We decided a little while ago that we'd all make each other a homemade gift, for under £5.
It could be anything, so long as it was handmade, so I decided to put my crochet skills to the test and make some chunky winter cowls.
They are so soft and cosy warm - just perfect for this cold snap we're having here at the moment, so I hope the others like them too.

I wasn't quite sure how I should photograph these, so as I didn't have 5 necks to wrap them around, I decided to just hang them on a tree in our front garden.  Actually they looked quite pretty there, I was tempted to add some twinkle lights and leave them out for a while  ; - )

Hope you're having a happy week,
xoxo
