Despite that it's icy cold, we've had lovely blue skies and sunshine for the past few days. So last Friday, my friend Heather and I took ourselves along to the Winter Festival at
Coughton Court , across the Shire border in beautiful Warwickshire.
After a yummy mug of hot choc to warm us up, we wandered amongst the market stalls, had a browse and came away with a few things. I'd hoped that there would be more handmade and craft stalls, but it was mostly books and foodie goodies.
Next we headed up the road to a little treasure trove called
The Barn at Studley which had a lovely open log fire burning and was filled with
lots and lots of fabby things. We'll definitely be going back there again sometime : - )
A late, yet delicious lunch and the obligatory wander around our local Hobbycraft completed an altogether fun way to spend a sunny Friday.
Hope you had a good weekend too,
xoxo
Looks like you had a lovely day Gill!
