We were at a craft fair yesterday. At 11am the entire place stopped as the coordinator read a small piece and they placed the last post for the minute of silence. I did not spend the minute truly thinking of the fallen men, as I didn't want to make myself cry. I had spent the hour drive to the craft fair thinking of them, as it was as the sun came up. I think it is important to think of those soldiers on more than one day a year, and for more than one minute. It doesn't matter (to me) when we think of them, as long as we do not forget and remain grateful for all that they gave.
Worth remembering! A lovely tribute Gilly.
