Firstly, and most excitingly of all - we have a new baby in the family:
Introducing Eilidh Anne . . .
Isn't she sweet ?
Eilidh (it's Gaelic and pronounced "Ay-lee") was born on Saturday evening, weighs in at 8lbs 13, and looks just like her daddy. Her mummy is my cousin and we haven't had a new baby in the Clan for absolutely ages, so it's all very exciting. Eilidh lives in Scotland so I haven't got to meet her yet, but I'll be posting her
very special quilt to her, and hoping she loves it.
On a much less exciting note, in between cooking and eating and shopping and chatting and walking the dogs and more chatting (etc etc) with my visiting sis-in-law, I have managed to finish the first cushion cover.
One down, one to go : - )
Hope you're having a fun & creative week too,
xoxo
I have a cushion cover like that - except it is a cheater one - my sister cut up and old jumper!

Thanks Amanda - I was bored with our cushions too, so thought a change would be good. Tres simple!

Little bub is just so cute! I love babies but I am afraid to hold them until they are about 3 months - they seem to be so fragile when new!
ReplyDeleteSarah xo
PS Love the cushion cover too <3
Tee hee - me too! I'm much better with them when they can talk back!
DeleteThanks again for the yummy Lammies recipe :-)

Sweet baby. I really like the cushion cover. The cables add such great texture.
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny, I told the Hubby that we needed to add some texture to our sofa for the winter! Great minds think alike :-)
DeleteHe of course had no idea that our sofa even needed texture, tee hee.
xx
What a beautiful name ... all my little ones have Gaelic names ... they are so pretty ... I'm sure she will love her new quilt ... Bee xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Bee - I do love all the Gaelic names too, but have to confess that having lived in Africa most of my life, I had to ask Eilidh's great-aunt for the correct pronunciation!
