Olympic fever . . .

Well, as predicted (see previous post), I managed to finish binding my patriotic picnic quilt whilst watching the amazing Opening Ceremony on Friday evening . . . the last stitch was sewn just as Team GB made an appearance in the parade, around midnight !

So it was packed in the car and taken down to London with us on Saturday to enjoy its inaugural duty as Head Picnic Blanket at my sister's Olympics party in the garden.

It was a beautiful day and we had a lovely time of fellowship and feasting . . .

. . . and a second helping of the very yummy jubilicious cake .

Hope you're enjoying the Olympics too.
GO Team GB, GO Team SA . . .  :-)
