In the middle of a busy little week here, so not much crafting happening but I did manage to get some crocheting done last weekend on our road trip to Devon :
I decided on a cushion cover with Granny Stripes for the back and a collage of Squares for the front, but then I went and read Helen Philipps lovely blog and just one look at the pics of her gorgeous bag gave me a serious case of "the wanties", soooo.... should I stick with Plan A: the Granny cushion cover, or do I follow the inspiration from Helen and make a bag? (happy, yet puzzled face)
Oh the decisions...
OR
I could just make BOTH? (happy smiley face)
Hmmmmm.... (happy, deep-in-thought face)
ps. Do pop over and visit Helen at her blog , I guarantee that you will develop "the wanties" too !
Love the colours you've chosen Gilly .... I like the cushion idea although a girl can never have too many bags! Bee x
ReplyDeleteToo true Bee - bags are my weakness! xx
DeleteLove the colours. The coral and blue look fab together. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks - they are pretty together, aren't they :-)

DeleteSo beautiful Gilly!! I think you should both, too! ;) Helen's blog is so pretty! Have a wonderful day! xo Heather
ReplyDeleteOk, that's 2 votes for both, so far - YAY! :-)
DeleteSuch gorgeous colours, you clever lady. I've laid my hands on a simple "how-to" book of crochet and intend to relearn what my gran taught me (and I forgot) at least 35 years ago.
ReplyDeleteThanks V! Have fun brushing up your crochet skill.. I'm sure it'll all come right back to you once you start. But be warned: it's addictive! xx
DeleteI say both. :0)
ReplyDeleteThe granny stripe is my favorite pattern
to make and will be so cute as backing.
