So I got up this morning with the intention of spending some time in my little craft room picking & choosing some yummy fabrics in preparation for starting a new quilt.
Yes, yes, I know it's still January and my self-imposed challenge is to not start anything new until February. But that's the beauty of self-imposed rules . . . one has the power to change them on a whim.
And today, m'dears - I have a whim.
It is a.l.m.o.s.t February . . .
It is a wee bit snowy outside . . .
. . . and when I opened my fabric stash cupboard, I spied a cosy bundle of pretty brushed cotton that has been waiting patiently on its shelf for well nigh a year now,
and I thought to myself:
"It's a PJ kind of day . . ."

So I hauled out the pattern, switched on my trusty machine, threaded the bobbin and spent a lovely few hours turning that fabric into super comfy PJs.
Nice comfy jammies on a snowy wintry day! Sounds perfect to me!!
ReplyDeleteOh your snowy pics made me shiver. It's a good job you made those PJ's to warm me up. They look lovely. I am going to have to visit your last post. Stay warm.

Snap - apart from I haven't been at home today, or made any jim jams - but I've definitely been thinking about it! Jane x
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty fabric you've used for your PJ's. The snow looks lovely through your window. Have a lovely weekend, Gilly.
ReplyDeleteGood plan! They look very cosy xx
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't get any better the perfect day for PJs, love the fabric.
ReplyDeleteGreat jammies, Gilly. They look really cosy! :o)
ReplyDeleteWe're getting quite a lot of snow at the moment (first BIG snow of the year!). That does sound like the perfect pastime for a wintry day. The PJs turned out great! Wendy x
ReplyDeleteThose are perfect!!! If not for PJ's then to lounge around on a Sunday when you and your partner just want to curl up and watch movies! You are my inspiration! Honestly!
ReplyDeleteMuch love to you,
Tammy
The weather outside is frightful indeed. Your jammie's look v cosy though :)

Loving those PJs Gilly and the poster is perfect. No snow here in Essex and just a tad envious! P x
ReplyDeleteThat weather is the perfect excuse to don a pair of jarmies and sit awhile...if not all day.....in front of your fire......so delightful! Gorgeous photos of your wintry wonderland, Gilly!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely looking day! Today I am craving those cold days of winter we get here when it drizzles and we stay indoors and knit and read and watch movies....
ReplyDeleteIt's so so hot here at the moment, I keep reminded myself it is only about 6 weeks until the beginning of Autumn. Then, it won't be cold, but it won't be so unpleasantly hot either. It'll be milder and more pleasant and more productive all around.
Enjoy your new PJs! New PJs are my favourite kind of clothing :-)

Love the PJ's - I couldn't agree more a great day for making.
ReplyDeleteLove the PJs! We had a bit more snow than you - at one point I thought we were going to be snowed in, which hasn't happened for a few years!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more that was a wonderful way to spend a snowy day and you have some lovely PJs now too. Unfortunately we don't get snow here in Cornwall ...lots of rain and wind though so my excuse for a crafting day!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes

Good on you for having a crafty day and the PJs are brilliant! Suzy x
ReplyDeleteNothing quite like cozy PJ's. Can't wait until my body temperature decides to stay even rather than up and down every 10 minutes, then I can enjoy them again. :)

It's a brilliant way to spend a snowy day. The PJs look so cosy, just what you need in this weather.
ReplyDeleteBrushed cotton PJ's sound very snuggy warm! We had a flurry of snow yesterday and a little overnight but there's nothing left now, sadly!
ReplyDeleteSounds a perfect way to spend a snowy day, and you have something wonderful at the end too. x
ReplyDeleteDarling PJ's! Perfect for a cold winters day :)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend to you, Gilly. Hugs!
Lovely PJ's and a great thing to do on a wintry day. It's snowing here and I'm planning to spend the morning in the house. I'm still in my nightgown and robe, soon I'll need to get a move on!
ReplyDeleteA perfect way to spend the day, they look very cozy.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Meredith
Those Pjs look perfect for this weather!
