Well, so much for things returning to normal after the holidays . . . I still seem to be catching up and despite the best of intentions, it's turned into another busy week.
Thanks for all your lovely comments on my last post - having had yet another road trip (albeit a considerably shorter one than last time) this past weekend, I did manage to get a wee bit more Daisy Duke knitted , but mostly we just nattered and ate and drank and laughed and walked and cosied up in front of the fire, and enjoyed a lovely time with fabulous friends.
Ben & Jerry had a great time too, catching up with their baby-sister-from-another-litter, the oh-so-delightful Coco (pictured below with her little humans)
And when we got home again, awaiting our return was this prettily wrapped parcel . . .
. . . containing my recently won giveaway prize from the lovely Julie who blogs and creates the prettiest of things over at Haggiz. If you haven't yet met Julie, please do pop over here and say hello.
How lucky am I ? Thanks Julie, it's soooo sweet and already has pride of place at the window in my little craft space.
It just goes perfectly there, don't you think ?
Right-o, time to give the two-most-adorable-pups-in-the-world their dinner and then I'm planning a relaxing evening of blog-reading-catch-up
: - )
Happy hump day . . . it's downhill to the weekend from here -
YAY . . .
YAY . . .
xoxo

Your get-aways always sound like such fun! How nice for B & J to meet up with their beautiful sis! My dog Cody once met his brother completely by surprise on a camping trip! The two dogs started playing with each other on the beach, we owners started talking "where did you get your dog" we discovered we got them from the same breeder, and then the same dogs, and alarm bells rang ... They're brothers!! It was such a fun moment ... I wonder if the dogs recognized each other (they certainly had a blast together). Your Scotty dog garland is really, really cute!! Such a cute design and the fabrics look great .... perfect in the window with those beautiful curtains! Wendy x
ReplyDeleteThe nicest kindest people are here in blog land, Gilly!
