going alfresco. . .

So, what's a gal to do when she'd planned to spend some time today, working her way through the pile of WIPs* that were starting to stack up,
but then the sun came out, the temp rose and it is oh-such-a-beautiful day outside ?

Well, she raises the bunting, dons her sunnies and moves everything outside, of course.

Yep, that's what she does.

 Simples  ; - )

I'm quite sure the pups thought it was a good idea too . . .

Hope the sun is shining for you too,
happy weekend
xoxo

* an update on the current Works In Progress will follow soon . . .

  4. It's official.
I'm moving in with you and your dog!
    lol!!
What a gorgeous garden you have, I mean just beautiful... and I love Chocolate labs... I hope I did get that breed right, but he/she looks like a chocolate lab to me. And you must teach me how to sew! Hannah is 8, she has wanted to learn for awhile so I have bought her a few hand sewing kids and she does a brilliant job, I have sewn things lately as well by hand, but we both want to learn to sew by machine! So I plan on buying one soon after arrival. I'd like to do a bunting with American and Union Jack designs!
    Have a great weekend!

  7. How funny - just this evening I was enjoying a little crafty get together with friends, and I was musing about wanting to quilt this weekend, but the weather is so gorgeous, could I bring the sewing machine outside? And here you have shown me how simple it is! Thank you! Chrissie x

  8. Well that's the way to work in the sunshine, we had plenty of sunshine today and all got a touch of colour, not bad for winter.

  10. That is our Gilly, making things work and getting projects done! Funny, I managed to get outside today because it got cloudy and therefore a smidge cooler so here I sit on my four season enclosed porch catching up on blog friends and later updating my own blog! Great minds think alike:D Love the pics of your pooches!
Hugs and enjoy your productive weekend!
