Introducing Oscar . . .

Here he is,
Olivia's big bro . . .

   Oscar Owl

We had a fairly quiet weekend - and I'm happy to say that the Jerry-dog has her wag back, so I seemed to get lots of little projects done & dusted.

Oscar was first on the list, followed by finishing up my I Love Hearts goodies - just need to get them wrapped and then they're ready to be posted up north to my swap partner, Hazel in bonnie Scotland.
Did some baking . . .yummy yoghurt & honey bread, and pain au chocolat . . . and spent some time curled up on the sofa practising crochet.

I'm doing a short Crochet course with the lovely (and oh-so-patient) Diane at Harry & Floss so I was doing my homework for this week's class. Homework is a very sweet little hot water bottle cover.  I'm not sure mine will turn out quite like Diane's (that's hers in the pic) but I am hopeful it will somewhat resemble it ; - )
Having sort of wombled my way through trying to teach myself how to crochet, it's fab learning the proper technique under Diane's expert tutelage.  Can't wait for this Thursday's class to see what's next.

Off to finish the Monday chores now, and then back to my craft room to sew some more houses - Row 10 in the Bee in my Bonnet Row-Along.

Wishing you a happy Monday,
xoxo

  6. How cute they are! I love to knit and crochet but often need someone's help as I'm not truly advanced; I consider myself an intermediate. I love them both, but I think I like knitting just a wee bit more.

  18. Isn't crochet fun? I have pretty much given up on knitting since I learned to crochet a little over a year ago.

I don't know which owl is cuter. They are both so fun.
