Rowing & shovelling . . .

More heavy snow  overnight . . .

. . . thus providing the perfect excuse to get some sewing done.

That's Row 10 AND Row 11 for the Bee in my Bonnet Row Along, all done.

 Yay  : - )

Now I'm wrapping up and heading outdoors to do my bit for the neighbourhood, and help shovel some snow.
See you tomorrow for Tea Party Tuesday with Chantille Fleur,

A demain . . .
xoxo

  1. It looks like deep mid-winter at your house! So cold! Our snow is beginning to melt as the sun is staying longer. I hope it is on it's way out for the winter and doesn't have any more surprises in store. Looking forward to daffodils, etc.
    Have a lovely day.

    Blessings,
    Fay

  2. Our snow was waist deep in some areas, so it was most of the day yesterday shoveling and no fun craft time. Maybe tonight :)

  4. I LOVE your rows! I wish I had thought of red spools. I don't like all that gray! I had trouble for some reason with the measurements and those little blocks were my hardest row. Yours are adorable! Have fun shoveling snow (what's that about really...you would make me feel lazy except that I'm much too delicate to shovel snow)...

    Cheery wave!

    1. Thanks Bev - I toyed with using grey but it doesn't really go that well with my other fabrics so settled for the red (it's actually got little white dots on it too) and am happy with how they turned out.
We live in a private road so we're all responsible to keep our little patch of road clear - which makes it easier for everyone, and it's quite sociable.. shovelling also usually involves a round of hot chocolate too :-)

  20. when I saw the title I automatically thought of rowing a boat....and then I saw the snow and thought....really? HA!
As for the rowing...I love them. I never learned to quilt...as for the shoveling...I've done that long long long ago as a child. I miss the snow, thank you for sharing it with us!
